Summer 2009 Vegas Trip - Part 1

This is Jenn. Isn't she adorable?  Jenn is a new friend from school that really wanted to see Vegas, and hang out with a cool chick.  Here she is playing roulette at the Wynn.  

Peter, me and Jennifer Helm on Peter's birthday at Grape Street. So fun for me. I got to see all of the Bellons and Tom R. and it wasn't even my birthday. Fun for Jenn too. She thought Mike and Peter were both hotties. She commented on how she has never felt so comfortable in a room full of strangers before. Anyone who knows a Bellon knows how warm and welcoming they are! 

Spring Cleaning

Well it is not Spring. But I've been doing some cleaning. . .  Seems I have offered my friendship to three unworthy characters.  It was bound to happen, some close to me have said. "Shawn, you are a little naive and issue far too many chances and without the filtering system that was your friends and family back home in Vegas to weed out the undesireables, it was bound to happen."  they said.  When I got back here to Kerrville and moved into a new place, organized my home, said a little prayer to dedicate it to my goals and growth, got rid of things that did not have meaning to me and did not want to continue to store, and realized that there were people usurping my energy but not offering anything meaningful or good to my life. So I got rid of them, in a nice way, too. In the future I will endeavor to withhold my friendship until I ascertain whether a person is principled, intends to reciprocate that friendship and authentic.
